Development of Turnkey Solutions
The Development of Turnkey Solutions forms part of the core business of AGE Technologies. We develop Turnkey Solutions for PLC hardware applications, as well as SCADA software applications. The functional design specifications supplied by our clients are used during the development phase. The engineering team at AGE Technologies then test the end product. Thereafter, stringent FAT quality checks are performed on the panels available in our workshop. All IO is then tested and certified by our engineering team. Software FAT’s are checked against the functional specification that has either been supplied by the client or been developed by our engineers.
Commissioning of Hardware and Software Solutions
The commissioning of hardware and software solutions takes place on site. This is done to ensure that the application performs the functions as specified in the original tender document and functional specification. The engineers of AGE Technologies modifies software on site should there be deviation from the original concept. Our clients are thus enabled to achieve their goal with the upgrading or replacement of plant equipment. The replacement and installation of equipment can either be implemented gradually as per project plan or replaced all at once depending on the time span of the project. Drawings are updated and marked up as commissioned in order to reflect the latest plant configurations.
Maintenance of Hardware and Software Applications
Once the plant is running smoothly and production targets are met, backup of the latest programs are made and stored for safekeeping. Maintenance of both PLC hardware applications and SCADA software applications are done by AGE Technologies. Backups of the latest program running on the plant floor are made on our backup server as well as on hardcopy (DVD/CD).
Programming, Maintenance, and Repair of Systems
AGE Technologies offer after sales support for systems purchased and developed by our engineering team. 24/7 support and callout services to our clients are also done. The 24/7 support and callout services include the loading of software updates if purchased during the initial guarantee period.
